From bucket list to published author (finally)

Turning 50, I wrote a bucket list which included “Write a novel”.  I’m not entirely sure why. I’ve always read a lot and just thought I’d give it a try. Finally drawing on that degree in English Literature obtained in the eighties I did just that, and found I enjoyed it, so I’ve started writing another.  The rest of the bucket list waits patiently for this new passion to subside and one day I hope I will get to see the pyramids, visit Japan and meet comedian Peter Kay.

Amazingly, that first completed novel was picked up by a publisher and has recently been published. It’s available through Amazon on ebook for Kindle and in paperback. It took two years from signing that deal to seeing a finished copy, but for me, it was worth the wait.
